Hunt Headlights Restoration

This client wanted a vintage grunge look for his headlight restoration business. Each print item was then designed to be bold and eye-catching with bright, saturated colors and simple easy-to-read fonts.

This client wanted a logo that easily reflected the type of work that he did, painting and remodeling. He wanted eye-catching colors to make sure he stood out from the competition, which frequently used darker colors.

Charros Mexican Restaurant

This was a logo redesign for an existing Mexican restaurant that wanted a more southwest feel in terms of color and font.

Ahoskie Medicine Clinic

This client wanted to keep things simple and clean. For the logo, they wanted to convey togetherness and helping one another. Once the logo was designed, we moved on to other print material and used the dark slate blue to ground everything, telling clients this Clinic had a solid foundation.

ECU Chancellor’s Holiday Card

I worked on this project with one other student and our clients were the chancellor and his wife. We created a festive holiday card with perforated punch outs (the snowflakes) to be used as holiday tags. This maximized our paper usage as well as kept the brand going. Also included in this project were invitations to the Holiday Open House that were handed out by the chancellor.

ECU Centennial Calendar

I worked on this project with a select group of other ECU students for our Alumni Association. We took all photographs and completely designed the calendar which was then distributed to Alumni.

Byrd House Market

This poster was created for a class in which the assignment was to create a poster for a local Farmer’s Market. The seeds are meant to convey the idea of growing within the community.

Personal Holiday Card

This card was sent out for Christmas 2014 to our family and friends. It was printed on light blue cardstock with a coordinating shimmery envelope. The final size was 5″x 7″.

Remarkable Packaging

This class project was to create a name, logo and packaging for a specific demographic. In this case, female writers or journalists aged 35-50. The packaging on each product plays off the word “mark”, even having the circle imagery look as though they’ve been hand-drawn.

Gridiron Beer Packaging

In this class project, the goal was to come up with a name, logo, packaging and promotional material for a beer. The Gridiron brand was inspired by football and carries this through to the billboard as well as the design for labels on the cans.
